We’re one-third of the way through our iLife series, and what a good time it’s been. We had a good time in worship yesterday, which included our second week in a row of baptisms. What a blessing to see new believers take their first steps of obedience.
Yesterday’s music was a good blend of musical styles that I think really helped the widest range of worship participation in our congregation that I’ve seen in a while. Some days it just “clicks.”
I’m keeping things short this week, as I need more time for study than usual. I’m preaching twice this week, and I’m really looking forward to it.
Here’s our set list from yesterday:
- We Belive // David Crain
- Cannons // Phil Wickham
- Standing on the Promises // R. Kelso Carter (countrified traditional)
- ‘Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus // Louisa Snead and William Kirkpatrick (praise & worship style)
- Now I Belong to Jesus // Norman Clayton (traditional)
