It’s the day after Easter, the biggest day of the year on the church calendar. How was your day? Did you go to church? What happened yesterday that sticks out in your mind? Let us know.
For me, Easter was a bit off. I was not all “there.” When I went to bed Saturday night, I was blind-sided by some sort of stomach illness, and I awoke with the same. That’s always nice to have when trying to lead worship on Sunday morning.
All-in-all though, we had a good day out our church. The choir did well performing our musical, and I didn’t fall over, pass out, or throw-up on stage even once. Looking forward to a full recovery now. I’ll give a full “confessional” later on today.
How was your day? Don’t be shy, it will only take a minute.

Oh man our Easter was pretty great. At least for me it was pretty great
I prayed all morning that something magical and supernatural would happen during our times of worship and that we’d truly celebrate! For me this happened and it was amazing. From what I could tell, it happened for many others as well but I’m working on the video component right now to see how things did go over.
Great! Jesus was worshiped, and for that we can be thankful. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Jeff, Bummer man about the stomache stuff.
We had an AMAZING Easter. We had about 15-20 salvations and over 1500 folks hear the gospel. I was EXHAUSTED as many of our fellow worship leading peeops were. I’m coming down from the emotional high today and having a few days off.
Hope you’re feeling better!
I’m feeling somewhat better. No big deal really, it will pass.
Praise God for the Gospel being heard!
Thanks for sharing.
Easter was fantastic. We did a baptism service so both services heard testimonies of how God has changed lives. Very cool. I’ll post a full confessional later today or tomorrow.
People were baptized, that means souls are on their first steps in their walk with Jesus. Praise God for that blessing. Thanks for sharing.
A very joyful service for us. We have a small church (25 or so) but we made a lot of noise
Incense, torches, and a full clergy procession made it very special.
Great, Darren! Where two or three are gathered, right? I love hearing that a “small” church got loud and worshiped their God and praised Him for what He has done through His Son.
Thanks for sharing.
A 6.00 service started the day in silence and with reverance.
Our 10.00 service then raised the roof of our new hall. Our comunity choir helped make it a really joyous service.
Tiring, but a good day. Apart from the celebrations, God has been talking to me about keeping the value of family in ministry, so it was good to go home to my family for breakfast, before the second service.
A challange to most of us….?
Hey Jeff,
We had an awesome service. Probably the most “effortless”, “easy” Easter service I”ve had in decades, which was odd!
God bless,
Fred
We had 2 services Saturday and I have been fighting a cold all week, so my voice was weak at the end of the day. I then could not get to sleep and was STARVING! I ended up having left over enchiladas at midnight and going to sleep around 1:30. My wife was coughing all night cause she was getting sick. Needless to say, we both woke up tired and myslef with a ton of gas…sorry.
Sunday AM was awesome, but I was a little mellow to say the least. I’ve got a down day today though, so enjoying it.
Happy Easter Jeff.
Phil, nice to hear from you. Silence and reverence, raising the roof, and then breakfast with your family. Sounds like a great Easter.
Fred, glad to hear things went so smoothly.
inWorship, I hear ya on the sickness end of it. Isn’t it amazing how God can give you the adrenaline/will power/whatever to make it through and then totally collapse?
Thank God for all of you and your service to Him in spreading His Gospel and His renown.
Our Easter services went great! It was a bit stressful, but still alot of fun! I’ll be posting videos tomorrow, so you should come check ‘em out. Hope you get to feeling better man!
Yeah, there does seem to be some stress that comes along with our “vocation,” but it’s always worth it.
Looking forward to the video. Thank God for His name being proclaimed.
