Yeah, there does seem to be some stress that comes along with our “vocation,” but it’s always worth it.

Phil, nice to hear from you. Silence and reverence, raising the roof, and then breakfast with your family. Sounds like a great Easter.

Fred, glad to hear things went so smoothly.

inWorship, I hear ya on the sickness end of it. Isn’t it amazing how God can give you the adrenaline/will power/whatever to make it through and then totally collapse?

Thank God for all of you and your service to Him in spreading His Gospel and His renown.

We had 2 services Saturday and I have been fighting a cold all week, so my voice was weak at the end of the day. I then could not get to sleep and was STARVING! I ended up having left over enchiladas at midnight and going to sleep around 1:30. My wife was coughing all night cause she was getting sick. Needless to say, we both woke up tired and myslef with a ton of gas…sorry.

Sunday AM was awesome, but I was a little mellow to say the least. I’ve got a down day today though, so enjoying it.

We had an awesome service. Probably the most “effortless”, “easy” Easter service I”ve had in decades, which was odd!

A 6.00 service started the day in silence and with reverance.

Our 10.00 service then raised the roof of our new hall. Our comunity choir helped make it a really joyous service.

Tiring, but a good day. Apart from the celebrations, God has been talking to me about keeping the value of family in ministry, so it was good to go home to my family for breakfast, before the second service.

A challange to most of us….?

Great, Darren! Where two or three are gathered, right? I love hearing that a “small” church got loud and worshiped their God and praised Him for what He has done through His Son.

A very joyful service for us. We have a small church (25 or so) but we made a lot of noise Incense, torches, and a full clergy procession made it very special.

Easter was fantastic. We did a baptism service so both services heard testimonies of how God has changed lives. Very cool. I’ll post a full confessional later today or tomorrow.
