  • Numbers 36 = land inheritance law
  • Deuteronomy 1:2-3 = because of disobedience: an 11 day trip took 40 years!
  • 1:9-18 = even Moses, a guy who had a literal direct line to God, saw the benefits and necessities of delegation
  • 1:42 = if the Lord is not with you, you cannot prevail, thankfullythe opposite is true as well
  • 2:4 = Edom=Esau; 2:8 = Moab=Lot; 2:17 = Ammon=Lot
  • 3:21-29 = Moses’ personal cost for disobedience
  • 4:1 = obey so you may live
  • 4:2 = oops, too late
  • 4:6 = obedience to God is a display of wisdom and intelligence
  • 4:9 = never forget what you’ve seen
  • 4:15-20 = Eureka! One of the reasons why God does not reveal His “form”
  • 4:26-32 = idolatry causes: diminishment, destruction, captivity, Diaspora, searching
  • 4:32-39 = God of history
  • 5 = The Ten Commandments redux
  • 5:29 = oh, that they would always have hearts like this
  • 6:5 = The Greatest Commandment
  • 7:7-8 = The Lord chose you because He loves you
  • 9:18-21 = God redeems and uses what He once thought to destroy
  • 10:12-13 = what God wants from you
  • 11:26 = choose the blessing
  • 12:8 = your pattern of worship will change
  • Luke 5:30 = why do legalists feel it is OK to be derogatory?
  • 5:33 = never thought about Pharisees having disciples
  • 6:1 = evidence of poverty
  • 6:20-21 = compare/contrast with 6:24-26
  • 6:32 = If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners do that!
  • 6:35 = don’t like to tithe? what about this?
  • 6:37 = “do not judge,” but it is not being judgmental if we point out that which God has already judged.
  • 6:38 = “The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
  • 6:45 = what is your treasury filled with?
  • 6:46 = clueless
  • 7:1-10 = somebody who got it
  • 7:33 = see, don’t try to please people
  • 7:49 = The Savior, that’s who!
  • 8:39 = go back to your family and tell them everything God has done for you
  • Psalm 65:3 = Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, you forgive them all.
  • 66 = shout, sing, tell, say, cringe, worship, sing, shout, come, see, bless, loudly sing, come, fulfill, sacrifice, come, listen, cry out, praise, confess, pray = the ACTIONS of worship
  • 67:1 = May: God be merciful; His face smile with favor on us; Your ways be known; the nations praise You; the nations praise You; all the nations praise You.
  • 68:5 = Father to the fatherless
  • 68:20 = Our God is a God who saves
  • 68:34 = tell everyone about God’s power
  • 69:5 = God, you know how foolish I am
  • 69:9 = Passion for Your house has consumed me
  • Proverbs11:24 = it is possible to freely give and become wealthy
  • 11:27 = you get what you look for
  • 11:28 = FLUSH!
