Alright, I’m feeling a bit guilty posting this after my previous post, but this blog is also about authenticity, so here it is. I want one of these bad boys. I’ve been waiting for some quality stomp boxes to come out specifically for acoustic guitar, and I know there are things out there like the Aural Exciter, but I’m looking for something more “smooth.”
Enter the Fishman Aura series. Choose the pedal that corresponds to your guitar’s body size and off you go. It’s a pretty slick blend of modeling and the native sound from your guitar’s pickup, and from what I understand, it can really enhance a sub-par bridge pick-up. I’m sure the videos below will explain it much better than I could.
