Everything is A-OK!

Posted on May 2nd, 2008 | by Jeff M. Miller |

Just a quick note to all my readers (all ten of you), everything is going just fine. I know there has been a dearth of posts lately. This has been due to a number of factors.

  • I’ve been having a hard time recovering from last week’s fully packed schedule. My weekend was jammed packed, and I’ve been VERY tired ever since.
  • I’ve felt a need to unplug somewhat this week. Not a complete blog/internet fast, but a temporary pulling back to focus on more necessary things.
  • I’ve become addicted to Lost, which is mainly the fault of my blogging/Twitter circle. I got tired of hearing how great the show is and being left out of the conversation, so I started watching it online from Episode 1. I’m hooked, and have been watching 2-3 episodes a night during the time I usually take to focus on blogging and social networking.

Never fear, I will be back soon, hopefully with renewed energy. My Bible journey post may or may not make it up on Saturday. I’ve been doing my daily reading, but part of my unplugging was that I wan’t typing up my thoughts as I went. I’ve also got a review of My Beautiful Idol by Pete Gall coming up in the next week or so. I’m looking forward to writing it up.

Thanks for sticking around.

According to Feedburner you’re up around 100.

Although I haven’t posted in a while and actually noticed my Feedburner numbers went up. Weird.

Sometimes we need to step away from everything that is normal to us. That’s when we can experience true rest. Just don’t step away for too long.

CRAP!!! [sorry i'm watching the Reds and they just walked another batter and I thought I'd make a comment with what I just said outloud]

Dude, I had the same problem with LOST during the writers strike. My wife and I were doing a disc (4 episodes) per night. Take your time because while watching the live is cool, you have to wait a week, which sucks.

I tried to resist Lost when it first came on, but everyone in my circle talked about it incessantly until I gave in and watched the first season on DVD. Hooked ever since.

Is it really Tuesday already tomorrow? Wow. The good news is that means that you will be posting tomorrow.

    Can I get an amen?
