The Monday Minute: We the Church
Posted on May 12th, 2008 | by Jeff M. Miller |
I know the Monday Minute usually happens earlier in the day, but this is a special occasion. I wanted to wait until today’s feature had officially launched before spotlighting it.
We the Church is the brain child of fellow blogger Chad Wright, and was produced in partnership with another blogger Scott Magdalein. I was privileged to be one of their beta testers, and this is one of the best things I’ve ever seen come out of the internet.
What is We the Church? Imagine prayer requests and praise reports being shared in a Twitter-like fashion. We the Church exists solely for the purpose of uniting the “big C” Church in prayer. The requests are anonymous (if you want you can say who you are), and are disseminated via wethechurch.org, via RSS feed, or can be followed on Twitter.
Get involved with We the Church. Add your own prayer requests, and make sure you take some time to pray over the other requests you see. Become a Twitter user and follow We the Church to make sure you stay up to date with the latest requests and praise reports.
Together, we can be united as one through our prayers to the One.
