Typical low attendance for a Memorial Day weekend, but not as low as I expected.
I saw a phenomenon I’ve never seen before. One of our folks sat down during everysong she didn’t like, and stood back up for the ones she did (hymns). I’m really not sure what to make of that. Oh well, I shouldn’t dwell on the negatives.
Service flow went well, especially considering we had no rehearsal. I really don’t have a whole lot to say about the day. Here’s the list:
- Leaning on the Everlasting Arms // Elisha Hoffman and Anthony Showalter
- Made to Worship // Chris Tomlin
- Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee // Henry van Dyke, Ludwig van Beethoven (Passion version)
- Kindness // Chris Tomlin
- Blessed Assurance // Fanny J. Crosby (Third Day version)
