Some updates and an apology

Hey everyone. Thank you for all the prayers for my mother-in-law and the family. Her surgery went extraordinarily well. They ended up needing to do fewer bypasses than originally thought, and she is ahead of schedule on her recovery.

The surgery kept getting pushed back, and was finally performed yesterday morning. She should be in a private room by noon today.

With music camp last week, striving to be a single parent this week, and looking forward to VBS next week, I’ve just not been in a blogging frame of mind. So, let me tell you a few things.

First, there was no confessional yesterday because of our kid’s music camp performance. They did well, and our auditorium was packed with visiting parents who came to see their kids. Pray that we can have continued connections and influence with these families in the future.

Second, I’m afraid I won’t be participating in this week’s Blogger Small Group. I would encourage you to go over to Kyle’s blog and read what all the others have to say. That’s my intention this week, and I hope to be back in the groove to contribute again next week.

Third, as promised, the Worship Leader Wednesday interviews will be appearing again very soon, though not as soon as I had hoped. With everything that’s been going on, I’m behind the schedule I set for myself. If you are somewhere in the interview process with me, don’t fret, I haven’t forgotten you.

As always, thanks for reading. i appreciate so much that you would take the time.

Have a great week!
