We've been working on the nuts and bolts of our upcoming Fall series—something I think we're going to call "One Another." Basically, we're going to looking at and creating opportunities for our church body to put all the "one another" commands in Scripture into practice—love one another, bear one another's ...

I've been a little heavy the last couple of days, so how about something on the light side? I haven't done one of these in a while, and I've accumulated a ton of great links—too many to throw at you all at once. So, here are only the latest and ...

Hey everyone. Thank you for all the prayers for my mother-in-law and the family. Her surgery went extraordinarily well. They ended up needing to do fewer bypasses than originally thought, and she is ahead of schedule on her recovery.
The surgery kept getting pushed back, and was finally performed yesterday morning. ...

Hey everyone. Just a quick note to ask for prayer, and let you know my posting may or may not be lighter over the next week.
My wife is leaving in just a few hours to go up to her parent's place. We discovered yesterday that her Mom was in critical ...

I completely forgot to to write up my confessional yesterday. We're full into music camp week, so my days are kind of packed. Here's the short and sweet of it, just the set list:
Glory to His Name // Hoffman & Stockton
Take My Life (Gloria) // Frances Havergal (lyrics); traditional French ...
