02.08.08sweet looking new guitar: batson guitarsHave you seen these? I just got my newest issue of CCM Magazine, and the Batson Guitar was featured in their Top Gear section. Pretty unique, as the sound hole is in the side rather than the top. As the little article states, I'll bet that gives a pretty rich sound since there's more soundboard surface area to work with. Add to that the cantilevered fretboard and their unique "Shor-Tail" tailpiece/bridge, there's even less stress and more freedom for the sound. It also features a Buzz Felten tuning system.
